Shola has garnered experience in diverse areas of Shipping. He focuses on Ship registration and finance, Marine Insurance, Carriage of goods, International Trade & Investments, Marine Pollution, Cargo Claims, Nigerian local content requirements and compliance, structuring and setting up of Nigerian shipping companies for cabotage or international carriage, Litigation and Debt recovery.

He was part of the Lagos team that compiled and drafted the Final Report for the Presidential Committee on Maritime Sector Reform in 2012. He has acted as counsel to several Nigerian and foreign shipping companies.
