Mrs. Irith Kist, LLM, MA, BA holds a triple academic degree in international and European law, tax law and political science. She specialized, inter alia, in privacy law and is employed with the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a Data Protection Officer. Additionally, she is an external PhD researcher at Leiden University. Her research focuses on the following topic: “A fair balance: health data protection and the promotion of health data for clinical and research purposes”.
