Julius Handler is an associate in the firm’s London office and a member of the Litigation Group.
Julius advises high-profile companies, financial institutions and individuals on business-critical
challenges across a wide spectrum of risks including white collar crime and high-stakes
contractual, commodities, insurance, ESG and supply chain disputes.
He has acted in complex litigation proceedings for both defendants and claimants at all levels of
the English judicial system as well as before major arbitral institutions and specialist courts
including the Tax Tribunal, Technology and Construction Court and in judicial review proceedings
in the Administrative Court.
As part of Julius’ investigations practice, he has assisted clients in conducting internal
investigations into matters including corporate governance, compliance and market abuse as
well as in investigations brought in the UK by the Serious Fraud Office, Financial Conduct
Authority and various prosecutorial agencies around the world including in the United States,
Italy and the Netherlands.
Julius has acted on transactional matters in a risk advisory capacity, providing support from the
contentious perspective. He regularly works alongside specialist advisers including local
counsel, media and public relations advisers.
Before joining Morrison Foerster, Julius practised at a magic circle firm in London. He obtained a
first class degree and academic scholarship from the University of Cambridge where he lectures
students on international commercial law. He completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP
University, London with Distinction.
Julius qualified as a solicitor in September 2017 and is admitted to practise law in England and
Wales.
