Idris Mohammed was born in Kaduna, Nigeria on 14th March 1973. He attended Air Force Primary School Kano and Air Force Primary School, Makurdi for his Primary School Education. He graduated from the Air Force Military School, Jos in 1989 with flying colours and proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for his degree in Civil Law, he was awarded with LLB (HONS) degree in the year 2001, and a Barrister at Law from the Council of Legal Education in 2003.
He was the president of Law Students Society, Ahmadu Bello University for 1998/1999 Session.
He has worked his entire career at Fama Firm, a commercial law firm in Kaduna, Nigeria, He is currently the Managing Partner of the firm.
He specializes and has extensive experience in Telecommunications Law, Commercial Law and Arbitration.
He holds three post-graduate Degrees- a post-graduate diploma in Computer and Communications Law from the University of London obtained in 2011, a LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law in 2013 from the same University and a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2017.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom).
He has a keen interest in information technology, music and football. He is married with children.
