Helena is an experienced insurance lawyer and commercial litigator. She has acted in relation to numerous complex disputes and also advises on commercial and regulatory issues.

Helena’s clients include (re)insurance companies, managing general agents and brokers and many of the matters on which she advises involve cross-border issues.

She regularly advises those clients on matters affecting the insurance industry which includes the impact of data protection laws and requirements. In addition, she works with clients in developing their data protection policies and procedures and reviewing and drafting their data protection contract wordings.

Helena has also acted in a number of Commercial Court cases and has represented clients in mediations, arbitrations and negotiated commercial settlements.

She has spent time on secondment at large insurance and reinsurance companies in France, Germany and Bermuda and is a fluent French speaker.
