I am a practising barrister from London with 20 (11-post qualification) years’ experience in the legal industry and contracts management in private and in-house practice with a PhD in International Commercial Arbitration. Currently I work as Senior Legal Counsel at Halcon Systems L.L.C., part of the EDGE Group P.J.S.C., based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, which houses companies in different industries. My experience encompasses various industries including, but not limited to, agriculture, information and communication technology, construction, machinery, knowledge and technology transfer, aviation, and joint venture, which I accumulated through providing advice and representation on national and international legal and contractual matters to different entities and conducting written and oral advocacy in litigation and alternative dispute resolution in the mainland and free zone.

I have validated sound knowledge of commercial and legal practice and endorsed negotiation and decision-making skills. My extensive contracts engineering experience includes, but not limited to, agreements for goods; services; technical advice and assistance; provision of works and supplies; and design and build.
