Antonin Sobek is a counsel at Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and a lecturer in dispute resolution at Sciences Po University in Paris.
Before joining DIAC, he practiced international arbitration at leading international law firms in London and Paris, including Three Crowns LLP and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP. He represented States and multinationals in high-stake construction, commercial, investment, and inter-State disputes.
Antonin is qualified to practice law in France. He holds law degrees from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po (in partnership with Columbia University and Sorbonne University) and a post-graduate diploma in International Construction Contracts from Panthéon-Assas University.
Besides his work, Antonin serves as a Young ICCA Regional Representative for Western Asia. He is also a member of the MENA Sub-committee of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations, co-founder of the UAE chapter of ENERAP, and Arbitrator Intelligence Ambassador.
Antonin speaks French, English, Spanish, and Czech. He also learns Arabic.
